Dust off your old Cosmos ladies – the magazine, not the drink – and reread some of those relationship tips they always offer. It looks like your spouse may be sticking around for a while. Pew Research reports the share of older Americans who live alone has fallen and that is in part due to an increase in life expectancy, especially among men. Women still make up a majority of the 12.1 million older U.S. adults living alone, but it is now more likely that they will be living with their spouses, rather than as widows.
